The South Bay Organizing Committee brought together musicians from across the West Coast for a conversation on how to organize and build power among musicians, facilitated by Hannah Kuhn, lead organizer of Musicians Union Local 6. The panel traced the history of freelance music and directed questions to panelists. At the end, Whippoorwill Arts presented its research on pay standards for freelance musicians.
