Khepera Batties has been documenting the human experience visually for over 20 years. Starting his career in Washington covering the Bush White House and the repercussions of 9/11, he’s produced and directed stories ranging from war zones internationally to domestic vaccine dilemmas. His approach to storytelling is to look underneath the hood of the perceived and get to the core of the conflict. In exploring the Black Lives Matter Movement he sought to sift through the misinformation and hyperbole swirling this moment in history and connect the past, present and future voyages of the American Experience.
